Overview of services

Our services include ADHD assessments, Mental State Examinations, general psychiatric assessments, and personalised coaching, all designed to help you gain clarity, understand your wellbeing, and develop strategies that support everyday life.

ADHD Assessment

What Your ADHD Assessment Involves

  • A face‑to‑face or online appointment lasting around two hours
  • Gathering supporting information from someone who knows you well (e.g., partner, family member, or close friend)
  • A detailed exploration of your personal background and life experiences
  • A full review of your mental health history
  • A structured ADHD assessment
  • A thorough evaluation of your current symptoms
  • Clear feedback on the outcome of the assessment
  • A discussion about your diagnosis, what it means, and the support available afterwards

If we feel your difficulties may be better explained by another condition, we will talk this through with you and help guide you towards appropriate services or referrals that match your needs.

A comprehensive diagnostic report will be completed after your assessment and sent to you within either 72-hours or four weeks.

Mental State Exsamination

What Your Mental State Exsamination Involves

• A face‑to‑face or online appointment lasting around 30 minutes
• A Mental State Examination (MSE) is a structured assessment used to understand a person’s current thoughts, behaviour, and cognitive functioning
• It helps clinicians build a clear picture of someone’s mental wellbeing to guide appropriate support and care

 General Psychiatric Assessment

What a General Psychiatric Assessment Includes

  • A face‑to‑face or virtual appointment lasting around 1 hour
  • Gathering relevant background information, which may include input from someone close to you (with your consent).
  • A detailed exploration of your personal history, including social, medical, and psychological factors
  • A full review of your mental health symptoms and how they impact your daily life
  • Consideration of differential diagnoses to ensure an accurate understanding of your presentation
  • A collaborative discussion about your current challenges, strengths, and goals
  • Clear feedback on the assessment findings
  • Guidance on treatment options, support pathways, and next steps

If we identify that your difficulties may be linked to a specific mental health condition, we will explore this with you and offer support in accessing the most appropriate services or interventions.

A comprehensive written report summarising the assessment and recommendations will be provided within either 72-hours or four weeks..
